CER-PCOR Summer Institute 2016 University of Maryland Campus Registration with Online Series
Credit Hours: 15.0 | Fee: $398.00
The CER-PCOR Summer Institute will be held at the University of Maryland Baltimore, August 9-11th, and offers participants expert instruction and guidance on how to conduct advanced methods in Comparative Effectiveness Research (CER) and Patient-Centered Outcomes Research (PCOR). It builds on the Fundamentals of CER-PCOR by strengthening and advancing current skills in engaging patients and other stakeholders. The Institute includes in-depth exploration of the 10-Step Framework of Patient Engagement, specifically: selection of study design, creation of data collection and analysis plans, interpreting results, and dissemination of findings. Expert panelists will foster discussion. Lectures, active learning exercises, group discussion and networking with colleagues add value to the two and a half days of intensive activity. Receive expert feedback on your CER-PCOR research plan or proposal in the half-day working session on August 11th.
Knowledge of the fundamentals of CER-PCOR is considered a prerequisite. Participants are expected to already have a background in CER-PCOR or to have participated in the 2015 CER-PCOR Summer Institute. Those who require pre-requisite training are strongly encouraged to enroll in the Engaging in CER-PCOR: Beginner Series, our online series based on the 2015 CER-PCOR Summer Institute.
