The purpose of ThinkEHRx: EHR Training for P³ Pharmacists is to guide pharmacists through the electronic health record (EHR) used by the P³ Program™. Pharmacists will review step-by-step instructional videos on how to use the ThinkEHRx system.

Developed in 2006, the P³ Program offers an effective solution to address the increased prevalence of chronic disease and rising health care costs. P³ equips pharmacists to provide Comprehensive Medication Therapy Management Services (CMTMS) for chronic diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease and asthma. Through the P³ Process of Care, pharmacists work with patients and their health care team to improve medication adherence and self-management strategies, resulting in improved outcomes. The P³ Program™ has teamed up with eHealthObjects, Inc. to develop the ThinkEHRx system for pharmacists using the P³ Process of Care.

• How to access the ThinkEHRx system;
• How to document patient information in ThinkEHRx;
• How to get paid for P³ encounters;
• How to send prescriber communications; and
• Whom to contact with questions.

ThinkEHRx is an electronic health record with an emphasis on pharmacist-provided Comprehensive Medication Therapy Management (CMTM) services. ThinkEHRx supports the P³ Process of Care and provides pharmacists with the ability to document their patient encounters and send communication to prescribers to ensure continuity of care among the patient's health care team.
